We would not hesitate to use Paul Mulholland to build for us again. Paul has an excellent ability to design a non-standard house on a difficult section and make it work for our particular needs. Paul’s budgeting and project management were excellent. We also appreciated his honesty and the fact that he passed all trade discounts to us rather than keeping them for himself. It is not often you can say that you built a house that came in on time and under budget but that is what we got with Mulholland Construction.

In 2010 I appointed Mulholland Construction to construct a new dwelling in accordance with my design and specification, in a rural environment.

Mulholland Construction has completed 2 projects for us, both are substantial extensions to family homes. This latest endeavour was a challenging project to convert a three bedroom, two bathroom house into a seven bedroom, four bathroom home for our blended family, and the house needed to be able to be lived in for as much as possible of the build process.

We chose to use Paul Mulholland again because of his enthusiasm for the project, and his imaginative suggestions when presented with the drawings. This was an unusual project because it included many innovations in terms of energy efficacy and we were extremely fussy about many details being exactly “right”- nothing short of perfection was good enough for us.

We also wanted Paul to provide us a “one stop shop” service, where we would not need to be involved in any of the organising of the projects progress.

The craftsmen that Paul Mulholland chose to use on the project were perfectionists, and the quality of the finished work is incredible. The kitchen and the bathrooms are a delight and are beautifully finished.

As the project progressed, Paul Mulholland accommodated any changes that we made – nothing was too hard for his team. For any potential issue, he presented us with a variety of solutions which eased any anxieties on our part. Regular onsite meetings meant we felt “in the loop” throughout the build.

We are so proud of our house that we chose to use it as the venue for our wedding.

Would we use Mulholland Construction again? Absolutely.

We had gone through the building process on two previous occasions with other building companies, but this was the first time we started off using our own ideas for the initial plan. It was so much more enjoyable and surprisingly simple. The Building process was smooth and remarkably quick and resulted in a home which was exactly what we wanted and at a reasonable price. Mulholland Construction was great to deal with. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were always helpful. We now have a unique, comfortable house we are very proud of and absolutely love living in. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mulholland Construction to anyone looking to build a quality home.
